A pair of Shakti Onlines is already ordered (originally for audio purpose) and on my way and a benchmark software (Dr. Hardware 2001 14-day trial version) has been downloaded.I will use the repeat & average testing as you said and then report the findings in the Tweaker's Asylum.

Oh, by the way, just to be clear on the averaging, the averaging should be done within each domain. In other words, average say 12 runs without, and 12 runs with the Shakti then compare those two averages. Not average all results together. I'm not saying you took this any other way, just wanted to make sure I was clear in my intent.
Of course, if there's no change between runs, the averaging is moot. :)
