...to see how gullible people are. Nobody was referencing the miraculous performance of Shakti stones on a stereo, that can be debated another day. I was only referencing the claims made by Shakti that their device was effective as a horespower increasing device for automobiles. Patented or not, the results shown by the single dyno test show negligible improvement at best. As others have pointed out, the changes could also be caused by other factors such as humidity and barometric pressure. If you want to throw away your hard-earned cash on a product who's results are, for the most part, unproven, based on advertising hype, go for it. I'll save my cash for some new CD's or an oil filter. I know those things work. The fact that Shakti stones are patented, speaks more about the questionable nature of the patent process, than it does for the effectiveness of the stones.
