I swear that I applied Teflon to the CD player and the CD player sounded great, but only through it's own headphone stage. Then I applied it to the pre-amp which previously provided 'superior' (all in my head, of course) headphone output. Then the pre-amp output again became superior to the headphone output on the CD player. Then, we went to the amplifier, but I didn't A/B and I don't really think it made that much of a difference AFAIK. There is a point of diminishing returns and I refuse to fall for it, so I only did the plugs on the HiFi and let the tweak rest afterwards. The refrigerator can look after itself as far as I'm concerned ;-)
