It must have something to do with those Oyaide XXX outlets!!
All our systems are fine balances between competing sound spectrums, it appears. For me, the teflon tweak was so dramatic even as I went from component to component: From CD to pre-amplifier were the biggest changes for me, from almost unlistenable to very listenable.
I use just ordinary Home Depot outlets so far. I'm at the point where I am going to let the tweaks rest. No crystals for me. Once you get to that point, perhaps, there is no place left for tweaking.
