Lightning aside...

If, for any resaon you should incur an electricial fire, an insurance Co. could/would try to deny your claim because of your "faulty" wiring

Insurance Co.s are notorious for finding ways to wiggling out of paying claims

For your own peace of mind, run #6 electrode from your "dedicated" ground to the service panel ground. I think that will satisfy code. But I'm not sure. Perhaps jea can chime in
