As far as I can tell 12DW7 and 7247 are and always have been
the same thing.As far as the tester chart discprencies are concerned, this
isn't terribly unusual...We've got some B&K's and every
one shows completely different test settings for 6DJ8
and 6922, which makes no sense at all. They test either way, tho!IMA that every tester chart I've ever seen (and that's a lot)
had typographical errors somewhere...usually they're
intentionally dropped into places which are likely
to create the most confusion. This is an heinous practical
joke of the people who wrote tube tester charts...think about
it, if you were stuck compiling tester charts for a living,
you'd be jonesing for a fast laugh too, I bet ... ;-)
