My RCA 7247's are in fairly new red RCA boxes (Harrison, NJ 07029)On the tubes they have stamped in red:

EQ.But also "7247 GT. BRITIAN" stamped in white near the top of the tube.
Cross seams on the top of the tube, like most British made tubes, and most convincingly, the acid etched code of:
6B2
B2I1That would be Blackburn UK, a Mullard made tube, if the first letter in the second row is a "B". If my eyes are really bad, and it is an "8", and not a "B" that would be a Holland made tube from Phillips Eindhoven, still not a bad deal.
I have about 6 of these and they are very nice in my ST-35. Last pair I managed to find were absolutly NOS NIB. In fact, so new they sounded bad, really harsh, for the first two or three days I had them in, almost sent them back!
Yes, now I believe that small signal tubes do require break-in.
