Sounds too good to be true:) Edgar was using 290Hz round horn in his private system at the end of his life. I have this horn. Sierra Brooks made it.
I have 2440 with 2445 JB titanium dias and 2441 with truextent BE dias. Both covered with dust like the rest of horn shebang since I didn't touch that stuff for a few years now. I have to say that I found 2440 with titanium (everybody loves to hate) much more to my liking. Just that robust full tone and going quite a bit lower than 2441BE.
I have to admit that I never heard a great sounding horn system. Well , except EV Patrician IV but it's entirely different category.
