Resolution levels of some stuff I'm interested in...

The Edgarhorn 350Hz round 2" tractrix [on my scale] has a resolution level of 3.40. When combined with the JBL 2441 (resolution level of 8.00) the combined resolution level on my scale is 8.90.

The JBL 2440 has a resolution level of 9.00. With the Edgarhorn 350Hz the combined resolution level is 8.90.

The JBL 375 has a resolution level of 10.50. With the Edgarhorn 350Hz the combined resolution level is 11.00.

The OEM WeCo 594A has a resolution level of 10.60. With the Edgarhorn 350Hz the combined resolution level is 12.00.

The round tractrix horn does not provide enough low frequency loading for the phase plug of compression drivers. Although the resolution level of the 350Hz round tractrix has low resolution and is the opposite of constant directivity, an advantage of this horn is one can clearly hear what is going on in the voicecoil zone of the driver. There are constant directivity that offer the best of both worlds. I have completely moved away for tractrix for any application in multiway horn systems.
