The fact remains

Plenty of hobbyists here crowing on about closed minded engineering types. And of course those doing so have no professional role in the electronics industry.

But the indisputable fact remains that electronics in general including commercial for sale audio equipment is designed by electrical engineers. They get paid to do it. In many cases they have generous R&D budgets and extensive collections of test equipment. It's not a hobby but a career and in some cases a hobby as well.

So go on about how bad modern audio equipment is designed. How you 15% distortion amp sounds better than anything that can be bought commercially. How modern engineering can't measure audio signals to any degree.

Nobody in authority is listening to you. The engineering and marketing people control the audio industry, not the tube DIY forum.
