I can see the rigidity in your response. This is what I'm trying to (and will) make clear. I hope this answer your question re: above.

Would you agree that the ratio of odd to even harmonic distortion, should be considered in the design of a low distortion amplifier?

Would you agree that the ratio of odd to even harmonic distortion could affect the subjective audible experience to the listener?

Its not really a question, feel free to answer.. but the point is that even if the designer thinks the ratio is irrelevant and chases the lower numbers (marketing dept?), he is not incorrect. Neither is the guy who decides he liKes tone controls or more 2H.
