Missing the whole point

I have no doubt that the buffer stays full quite nicely, etc.

But that is NOT what I am talking about, I am talking about the firing pattern of the data stream IS GOING TO BE DIFFERENT for a coded lossless data stream and one that is the full linear PCM data stream.

This digital data transistion pattern WILL feed into the PS, and this WILL get into the DAC. It has to, the PS impedance is not zero, nor is the ground plane impedance zero. Once the PS is changing, the DAC has modulation of the output due totiming errors from absolute perfection.

SOTA playback equipment DOES get the jitter level down pretty low, but it is aparently not below the level of audibility, as even the SOTA players all sound a little diffeent.

Now, the question is, does this different pattern SOUND different while playing back the music, and does it just sound different, or does it sound worse or better? ONLY listening will tell us, right now, we can not measure and correlate the jitter levels with what we hear.
