Glad you're back to enjoying home audio.

One of the few good things about living in overpopulated times is that even if your passion isn't shared any longer by a significant percentage of the population, the number of individuals that share it is still quite high so it carries on. And with the internet we can keep in touch. Heck, I know folks who still ride horses and they don't seem to be discouraged that they are becoming more in the minority. In many ways I think this is the best time for home (personal?) audio ever and it's a great time to be an audiophile and music lover.

I don't think I've got any 1/2" faceplates, but my DAC is close and if it ever dies I'll hope Al prices are up at the salvage yard. But I've always liked it's sound so I doubt that the front panel is hurting performance.
