Home Computer Audio Asylum

Music servers and other computer based digital audio technologies.

here's what you do

Get a USB cable from Staples or Radio shack. Plug one end into your computer, the other into your DAC. Set your computer output at the soundcard selection menu in "Control Panel" to your USB DAC. Download a music player program or use the Media Player that you have to play the WAV files. Select the USB input on your DAC and you'll then hear the Beatles. It's as simple as that.

There's a lot of hardcore computer people here, you'll get decent results with your existing DAC. When you feel ready you can upgrade to something that'll play the 24 bit, but give that way a shot just to get your feet wet.
