What do you remember about the '70s Cerwin-Vega speakers?
Some people, mostly rock 'n roll, thought they were great. I vaguely remember seeing/hearing some in a local "rock band" supplier store, and, of course, remember Gene Cerwinski and his tagline "Loud is beautiful, if it's clean". But I've never bought or even used them, having gravitated toward Electro-Voice and Gauss.
So, I really don't have a good perspective regarding if they actually were outstanding speakers, or if it was just the hype of the day among some folks.
