Funny you mention those issues, yes, I have read about the problems that come with age. I've considered myself lucky so far, but the player has only had mod. usage over the yrs. A lot more time recently.I listed my equipment in the first post, but I'll try to fill out my info soon. And yes, my room's aweful. But I only have so much space in my whopping 925sq/ft home lol I'm sure room treatments would help quite a bit.
