RE: Inexpensive transport for dac 2.1..

I built this dac a couple of months ago and recently got a PS Audio Lambda transport, it also uses the CDM-9 Pro drive. It was really a night and day difference from the Marantz DV-9500 I was using. I also, loaded the dac case with sound absorbing material and am using good feet. I actually could not believe the amount of detail and resolution that this thing is capable of. It far surpasses both the Cary 303/300 and Sonic Frontiers SFCD-1 players I had previously.
