Hi
I am considering a dac 2.1, what do you think is cheapest transport/ dvd player i could get away with and still do the dac justice. I only have experience with one box cd players, hence my question.
I was hoping to really like a one box cambridge 840 that i am auditioning but it really isn't my cup of tea. Impressive but not very involving, strings sound a little cold.
I heard a new audionote one box player at RMAF and thought it sounded quite good.
thanks for any suggestions.
