My original plan was to dump the external XO in favor of active biamping. Then I'll either upgrade the internal XO, or go full-tilt and actively triamp. My woodworking skills are improving and I'm sure I'll eventually build a pair of hardwood frames too - I do have a pair of MMG hybrids in the living room that I built back in early '08 (they aren't bad).
I'm still not done with my new room or my phono preamp. This whole garage project set me back six figures and my monetary headroom is a little low at the moment. Superior or inferior, I'm not complaining and I'm certainly not offended by your statement.
Don't worry. I'll get around to investing some more capital in these awesome speakers!
