Brand names aside:
Blowing the tweeter fuses means your amps are NOT clipping? Hmmm... I realize they may clip "gracefully", but I thought that was in reference to your ear's perception of the sound character during clipping. A distorted waveform from a tube amp will sound less painful to you, but that just allows you to drive the amps further into overload before your tweeter fuses are shutting you down. I love those amps, btw. Would have owned some for sure, if I hadn't been funding college tuition (plural) at the time.
Please explain.
