as an experience MMG "biamper" I think sonically the biamp system will give more. BUT... You have be willing to tinker (set up the crossover) and, don't trust your ears, use some measurement instrumentation to get it right. And there is "oops" issue - does the Sunfire have a DC offset on power up? those Maggie Base panels will move out or in quite a ways. And most important... You won't be able to stare at those beautiful glass panel's on the McIntosh gear.
