I usually skip the pain killers entirely (in my case they hurt worse than the work itself.) Tho convincing dentists to do tooth work with no pain killers isn't too hard it was much harder to convince the oral surgeon to do a root canal with no pain killer...Do you mean pain killer (i.e. Vicodin) or anesthetic (i.e. lidocaine)?
I'm thinking of getting doped up on opiates.
...but he learned something that day and I didn't have to suffer yet more arrogance of a specialist thinking he knew better than I what worked best for me.
Oh how I'd love to say what I'd like to say as a reply to that.
