Dan the oscillator in the ST1700B (with IM) is RESISTIVELY BUFFERED, at the output. I can supply the values to you, if you can't understand me. Also, I put a .033uf polystyrene cap to ground AT THE OUTPUT of the analyzer in order to reduce distortion and noise further. How on earth could two 75 ohm cable measure differently in this case?
The input of the analyzer is RESISTIVELY BUFFERED as well.
Until you know for sure what you are talking about, please refrain from criticism, or at least try to explain to me what I am missing.
