The subdudes look like a good idea. Great bang for the buck.I am using some Brightstar Audio Big Rocks under my floorstanding speakers with excellent results. My stereo is on the second floor in my house, so the speakers are on a suspended wood floor. With the speakers on the Big Rock (a sand box with plinth) the floor does not vibrate anymore and neither do the side walls. You would be surprised how much muddy bass you are getting from your walls as well as the suspended floor. At first I thought that I had lost some bass when I put them on the bigrocks, but then I realized that I just lost the excess bass overhang from the vibrating walls and floor. That bass overhang was really smearing everything.
BTW, I got the bigrocks when there was a factory closeout on a discontinued model. They are a little pricey but I think they are worth it when you consider the results. The subdude looks like it would accomplish most of the same thing. I know that the mo-pads work very well on desktops with small speakers, so I have no reason to doubt the subdudes.
Good luck.
