i'm about to move into a chicago 2 flat, an old home built around 1880. The place has nice hardwood floors, but i'm worried about the effects the bouncy suspended wood floor will have on my heavy floorstanders. any cures for this?A friend uses an Aurelex Subdude under his sub..it sounds amazing and doesn't bother the neighbors below.
So, i'm wondering if there is a consensus on what to use? Isolate with Subdudes or actually connect to the floor with maple plats or concrete pavers?
i'd like to hear how others have cured this..
i'm moving from a condo with thick carpet over poured concrete subfloors, and i don't want to deal with the bass suck out that i think i'm in for...my speaks are Thiel's that weigh about 80lbs.
