Sorry, i should explain the situation better.i'm moving into a friends 2 flat. its 120 years old and has nice old hardwood floors. Currently, there's a set of huge floorstanders that sound like crap since they sit right on the floor. All sorts of floorvibes during hip hop, but little bass output. i've heard these speaks sound better on small wood stands, but my friend broke them.
since i'm moving in, his speaks are on the out. i'm not familiar with what to do, and searching the archives for 'bouncy floors' and 'floorstanding + hardwood' is giving a lot of threads from 5 years ago.
jsut wondering if there's a current consensus??
