Musicians not only need good managers, they need to KNOW they need good managers.
Too many wayward talents have been lost when good management MIGHT have made a difference.

oh the list could go all over the place, and some musicians would probably not have been easy... possible... to work with.
One of the best I know is Peter Jenner who was Pink Floyd's first manager, organised the free concerts in Hyde Park back in the mid-60s including the Rolling Stones, was managing Ian Dury when I got to know him and, I think, now looks after Billy Bragg.
