I have been listening to Gene Clark's music for over 15 years now and have collected all his LPs from the days of his collaboration with the Gosdin Brothers, to Doug Dillard and Carla Olson.I actually own 2 copies of No Other as I loved the LP so much. It includes a b/w poster of him posing for the camera that is somewhat dated. The song "Some Misunderstanding" however happens to be one of the most heavy-hearted songs I've ever heard. I understand that the LP was originally planned to be a 2-LP set but the record company pulled out at the last minute.
What a shame coz Gene Clark is such a music powerhouse; equivalent to the likes of The Flying Burrito Brothers, CSN and The Nitty Gritty Dirt Band put together. His individual talent is that great and can never be overstated.
