Radio-frequency interference (RFI) is in my opinion, the biggest problem with digital playback, and with audio in general. (The digital pulses are basically square waves, which contain harmonics that go into the RF range.) In mild cases, I think it alters how one perceives music.... In severe cases, I think it's what makes digital playback "fatiguing" to the listener.
