Home Digital Drive

Upsamplers, DACs, jitter, shakes and analogue withdrawals, this is it.

Hell No.....

"Is there anything that degrade the sound while digital sound signal travels other than jitter. I've read many posts here and it seems that's the only problem."

Not only do I think jitter isn't the only problem, but I also think it even isn't the biggest problem.....

Radio-frequency interference (RFI) is in my opinion, the biggest problem with digital playback, and with audio in general. (The digital pulses are basically square waves, which contain harmonics that go into the RF range.) In mild cases, I think it alters how one perceives music.... In severe cases, I think it's what makes digital playback "fatiguing" to the listener.
