or other is of course personal to you, likewise myself.Personally I find the notion that the designer of a cable seemingly has so little confidence in the performance of said cable as to be incapable of ruling out the possibility that its perceived performance may be due to non-audible parameters to be highly interesting, and also repugnant.
For example, suppose I wrote to George Cardas telling him how much I liked the performance of one of his products and solicited his opinion as to how the design yielded this or that characteristic. I have to admit I be rather shocked and more than a little pissed off if he responded ... "Don't ask me man, perhaps you just react that way to thick cables".
