It's just so frustrating. For smaller peripheral companies or even the large conglomerates, maintaining drivers that meet the latest security protocols is a full-time project. And Apple is just cavalier about all of those existing installations; they don't care if they just bricked 20,000 people's interfaces, because that's the manufacturer's problem. But what if you have a Lynx Hilo or another small company product that doesn't have a whole department working on new drivers? And for all the existing installations of perfectly good legacy products that no longer get any driver support?
Apple: buy an interface compatible with Catalina or contact your manufacturer. Gee, thanks Apple. I so love your products and concern for my security. Not.
