hi d,as i already mentioned, i am not one to explain tube circuts to anyone. but one difference that was mentioned in the article in Ultimate Audio was the use of local feedback to reduce distortion. i cannot debate the merits of this design but i did "percieve" very low noise and distortion. the article does mention that the Tenor has "a regulated special low impedence driver stage" and "a fully regulated dc coupled output stage". whether this means they are tubed regulated i don't know.
i would recommend anyone curious about the design of the Tenor to read the "technical highlights" from the Ultimate Audio review.
