I had all the tube stuff out of my system in my 20's and 30's on Khorns.

Like Vinyl, it's the inconvenience and cost that attracts you, along with the great space heater properties.

I prefer clinical accuracy vs. the fixed town control aspects of SET's also.

I still have a 10 W "1969" classic class A when I feel the urge in winter.
