I hope you understood my point that there are several ways to approach this. Again, Linkwitz now uses his Thor (monopole) subwoofers below the Orions dipole woofer system to pressurize the room at very LF. John K (website w/ recommended tech articles linked below) uses a cardioid woofer system below a dipole main panel.
What driver(s) are you planning to use? What size baffle? Flat, H, U, W etc?
How far away from the walls, front (behind speaker) and side? How are you going to power this? XO Passive, active w/eq, bi-amp, tri-amp, etc?
