I have heard several SE Audio Note amplifiers from the OTO up to the Ongaku. There is a kinship between them in that the presentation is both detailed but laid bank, accurate but slightly impressionistic. The presentation is NOT forward and the sound is not dramatically tipped in any direction. There is a certain "I don't know what factor" that moves the presentation in the direction of the "sublime".
Now, does one get that from the Interstage Mono Block kit amps?
