Twist or not

Hello,

I will do the phono kit soon and I wanted to get some more insight
into the things given the phono kit is a very delicate project regarding hum etc.

I posted the same question, whether to twist wires or not, and if yes how tightly. There are two links below to my posts which are illuminating. I do not know if giving 2 links in the "optional link title" box will work, so I also give them in the body of text here:

Brian says twist and of course his suggestions are final to me but some inmates do things differently, and I wanted to understand better.

I hope this will give some more insight into the problem for beginners like me. I also hope experienced kit builders will tell us here their opinions.
