This contains custom Purifi class D power amps that are not Eigentakt (though what that means is not defined). Darko calls this the best amplifier he's ever heard and preferable to the M66/M23 combo (IHHO). My thought was that Bruno Putzeys has been pretty adamant that the Eigentakt performance is dominated by feedback, hence my slight scepticism that NAD could make it better. In the earlier days of class D Putzeys once said he was very open about developments because no one believed him. Now, perhaps, with many on the class D bus he is more cagey and knows somethings that would make his design better and, hence, the Marantz implementation is better? The M10 is twice the price of the M33 so I will suspend my disbelief about Purifi classD price/performance. Unless, it is other stuff inside the M10 that is pushing up the price.
