RE: speaker cable lengths vs speaker impedance

Thanks for your reply Ralph. 6 inches is a bit extreme! Even with monoblocks. The downside is resale value. The market for 6 inch cables is about as small as the cable itself!

I have to wonder if a short cable imparts less influence on the sound. This may sound like a silly question, but does it make as much difference to use high-end cables in short runs?
