RE: Drivers for dipole basses?

91.152.13.10

Hemholtz; why wouldn't you cross them as high as ~200hz? I've heard Gradient Revolutions that are dipoles with 2 x 12" SLS going up to 200hz, and they had easily one of the best basses I've ever heard from any speaker. And that's the reason for my interest on such setup, only with 4 pieces per side.

But if I have understood correctly, those GR servo's won't go much higher than 100hz..?

And yes, my intent is to go 3-way, probably with Hypex UCD or NCore amps. Should be fine for all frequency ranges...

Great looking GR dipoles you have, by the way! :=) Can you give any further information about their building process, measurements, comments on sound quality (compared to Maggies), etc.?
