A friend of mine has some Janszen hyrbids from what, the 50's or 60's? Don't know if he ever had to have them reconed, but the tweeters are going strong. Another friend has KLH-9's, which also use the Janszen tweeters, and they're also going strong after I think one refurb in the late 70's. His secret he says is that he removes the polarizing voltage when he's not listening, so they don't gather dust.
