The stand & A-strut method I used, holds both frames vertical and doesn't allow either of them to tilt.



The same struts will be used when I go to 2 wooden bases ... and my mid/ribbon frame & base will be 10" wide, versus your 4".

Yes, the angle of toe in varies with the distance apart from the frames. As you can see from the pic, I currently have my ribbons in but I will try them out when I get the new bases (as it will be easy to move them around).
