RE: hardwood MMG frames, what went wrong?

Please let me know what are the values that you are currently using in the xover and are they new? I believe you posted this earlier but I am in a bit of a rush right now. I may have a quick suggestion for you to try. Also, what are you driving them with?

In the meantime, keep in mind (for MMGs):
- Framing WILL improve the clarity of the extreme highs. Their presence also goes up but I never heard (or measured) a significant bump up.
- MylarBack (at least here) will easily screech. I think PG tames this with his xover but I don't "know it", as I use MylarFront which is less prone to do this and otherwise sounds more correct, to me.
- The chokes (look around) among other benefits, will help.
- Too "live" a room may require some judicious damping.

Tweeter-out being worse (in this regard) is kind of odd and points to other areas of exploration...angling? (toe-in) and very reflective side walls?
