Good question on the how old part. I considered buying a few different pairs over the last two months. I called Magnepan on a few to see the age but not these. Stupid I guess They're 1.6's so I guess between 1 and 11 years old. LOL.

I'm also concerned, as you pointed out that other areas and the other speaker may let go in the future.

I still need to talk to Magnepan, but am leaning in that direction.
