What is the best choice for diffusion over glass behind the maggies ?

I have 20.1s on my long wall. There is a 7 foot wide brick wall center that has pretty good uneven edges. But I have slider doors on each side, essentially 72" of glass on each side, right behind the speakers.

Especially since moving from 3.6s to 20.1s, I have much less depth in my room. The front line seems to be more at the back wall with other instruments behind them. Great width.

I have a real ficus bush behind each speaker (they are only 4-5 foot tall so far), but they do not seem to change things.

If I added wood curtains or blinds over each panel of glass, ideally rounded edges, would I get better diffusion ??

Forgetting about looks for now ...

Would I be better off with something vertical - for example
