24 hours in-MG20s and Spectron Musician III

Insanely good. Last night the bass howled, I could not get the amps to blend. 20 hours in, there is true magic. The vocals are now full and dead on centered. NO DRIFT AT all, with any frequency change. When power is needed (bass thump) it WHACKS the speakers. I hear all sorts of percussive effects on lower registers that I never heard. I still hve the tone control in to reduce the bass, slightly on the C2200.

Clarity? 10/10.

Did you know on "Your Latest Trick" by Dire Straights there is a glissando when he mentions "the 12 keys hanging off of her chain". Great content\form match, he mentions the 12 keys and the keyboardist runs his hand down 12 keys. Never heard that before, even with my McIntosh 352. Clear as a bell here.

My advice, and yes I am serious. Sell your SS amps now while there is still a market. You own a wooden ship, and here comes the Merrimac.
There is time to recoup your investment, but the future is ICE. No doubt.
Even when someone here will claim superiority of some kind, ICE is to solid state what CD was to vinyl.

Back to listening. I could never tire of this. Chips and Salsa by Steve Oliver, I am hearing percussion I never heard with Bryston or BK. CLARITY is the operative word.
