Again my apologies for being rude, too much stress and Caffeine at work ! Anyway I emailed the gentleman who wrote your link. This one is gonna kill ya , but he says my way is SAFER !!> Hi Ken I just read your article , I thought it was great . informative,
yet> easy to understand.
> Listen on My cable TV line I had the usual Ground loop hums, and a friend
of> mine > who is an electrician saw how outside the house , the cable tv wire was > grounded to the electrical ground.

than your "audiophile" friends because if any Strange Surge comes in through
the cable feed's SHIELD it'll be sent directly to the new earth ground
rather than the Whole House's electrical ground. In fact, it sounds (no pun) like the existing House Earth Ground is
deteriorated and the NEW ground rod is reinforcing the existing earth
ground. In other words, your Whole House electrical earth ground is
probably better than it was.Besides, since it was installed by a LICENSED (you hope? ;) ) ELECTRICIAN,
if Anything Goes Wrong you can sue him, etc. for damages..... ;)Ken Simmons
