Usually in a whisper of death...but that is why it is recommend to be placed in a ac plug and not wired inside the wall. The Leviton 5266C ac plug that can be picked up at your local Home Depot will actully allow most .1uf 600v (or greater) capacitors to be placed inside the ac plug shell. You can insulate the ac plug with a good quality heat shrink for added protection. I also recommend using a fiberglass cloth sleeving to cover the capacitors bare leads.Alan
