My first thought was similar to 13doW's, that moving the caps might have put a strain on one of the solder joints of those caps. If any of them look suspect, I would reflow the solder.
I can't think of any reason why Blu-Tack would cause a buzz, presuming the buzzing is electrical and not mechanical. If you disturbed any electrical connections, sometimes a poor connection can cause a low level buzz. You could check by jiggling any connectors to see if that has any effect.
I presume you didn't place any Blu-Tack on top of any heat sensative components, which might cause stress from overheating.
Or, it is possible that the blu-tack itself did cause the problem.
At any rate, I would be hesitant to use any more permanent way of securing those caps until you know for sure that doing so would not cause the buzz to return.
