Good idea. I always leave the output stage out of the feedback loop and am happy with that, but Altman takes overall loop NFB to new levels.
The only real drawback is that the driver stage must be considerably more complex since it's driving more transistors. The feedback loop will not increase dampening factor either since it doesn't sense the real load, but this I've found not to be a big deal unless driving speakers with wildy varying impedance.
