Tweakers' Asylum Tweaks for systems, rooms and Do It Yourself (DIY) help. FAQ. |
|
I'm blessed with an oppportunity here. This is a 12' X 26' bonus room above my garage, and Mrs. N. will let me do just about anything I want with it! I've got a thing about hardwood floors, so I'll likely install oak flooring, but as for walls and ceiling, I'm open to suggestions. I could go the plain old drywall route, or do knotty pine on the walls, which I like, but what would YOU do with this room, soundwise? I'd love to hear your thoughts. What room treatments would you surmise would be required once it is finished? I could have left the window out, I know, but I really wanted it there. A stairway comes up at the back of the room, with another window, opposite the one you see. What about cork on the walls? Room treatment is not my strong point, you'd likely guess. Suggest away.Happy Thanksgiving,
n
